Endowed Named Scholarships

scholarships.jpgOur nation’s future rests upon the education of our young people—a truth that lies at the heart of Manhattan University’s Lasallian promise to educate all gifted students, whatever their financial means. But in order to prepare tomorrow’s leaders for the challenges ahead, Manhattan University must rely on benefactors of generosity and vision. Many of the bright young people who attend Manhattan University could not do so without financial assistance. One of the most important forms of support for our students is through endowment of perpetual-named scholarships. In addition to fostering individual academic advancement, you will be linking your name to an educational tradition that is nearly 160 years old. There are three ways to assist students:

Full-Tuition Scholarship

A gift of $1million or more will endow a perpetual-named scholarship supporting full-tuition for a single student at Manhattan University. Your name and a description of the scholarship will be listed in the University catalog.

Half-Tuition Scholarship

A gift of $500,000 will endow a perpetual-named scholarship supporting half-tuition for a single student at Manhattan University. Your name and a description of the scholarship will be listed in the College catalog.

Quarter-Tuition Scholarship

A gift of $250,000 will endow a perpetual-named scholarship supporting a quarter-tuition for a single student at Manhattan University. Your name and a description of the scholarship will be listed in the University catalog.

Named Scholarship

A gift of $50,000 is the threshold amount for endowing a perpetual-named scholarship at Manhattan University. Awards will be made consistent with the College endowment spending policy. Your name and a brief description of the scholarship will be listed in the University catalog.
